You can also keep certain sliced vegetables in an airtight bag which are amply available in the market so that you can use them when you are in hurry. But do not store them for many days.

Certain other tips of cooking are that try to cook keeping the gas in simmer that will save gas as well as help the vegetables to boil properly. Always try to cover the utensil in which you are cooking. Vegetables get cooked faster in this way. This will also bring out the desired smell and taste from the food cooked.
